Description

The Illusis is a 630mm semi-flush ceiling light with twelve G9 bulb fittings arranged across a circular polished chrome canopy, from which cascading strands of transparent glass spheres hang on nylon threads. Each sphere is cut and polished to refract light from the twelve bulbs across the room, creating reflected light patterns on adjacent walls and ceilings when lit.

Designed for rooms with standard or low ceiling heights (2.4-2.7m) where a full-drop chandelier would hang too low, the Illusis provides multi-point ambient lighting without the clearance requirements of a pendant. It suits dining rooms seating 6-8 people, living rooms up to 20m², entrance halls with limited ceiling height, and master bedrooms where overhead lighting is needed. The twelve bulb positions distribute light evenly across the 630mm diameter, reducing shadow in larger rooms compared to single-source ceiling lights.

The polished chrome finish reflects both natural daylight and artificial light, amplifying brightness during the day and adding shimmer when the fitting is lit at night. The glass spheres vary in size from approximately 15mm to 40mm diameter, and each sphere hangs on a separate nylon thread rather than being fixed to a rigid frame, so the droplets move slightly in air currents.
