Description

The Iliada is a 13-light LED cluster pendant from Schuller, featuring thirteen spiral-cut acrylic cylinders suspended on adjustable cables from a 70cm matt black circular canopy. Each transparent cylinder is held by a gold metal collar, creating a repeating vertical pattern of gold and clear acrylic that catches and refracts light across the column. Integrated LEDs sit within the gold collars, casting 3000K warm light through the carved acrylic and delivering 8,370 lumens total from 91W.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, stairwells and dining rooms with ceiling heights above 3m, the Iliada uses individual cable suspension on each of the thirteen lights, allowing the drop to be adjusted between 50cm minimum and 350cm maximum during installation. The cables can be set to uniform lengths for a tight cylindrical column, or staggered to create a cascading waterfall effect. The included remote control pairs with the built-in TRIAC/0-10V dimmable driver, enabling brightness adjustment without additional wall dimmers or control systems.

The 70cm canopy diameter and 15kg total weight require secure fixing to a joist or reinforced ceiling rose rated for the load. The spiral-cut acrylic diffuses the LED point sources into a soft glow that fills the vertical space without harsh glare, while the gold collars provide accent reflections that shift as you move around the fitting. The matt black canopy recedes against most ceiling finishes, keeping visual focus on the acrylic and gold elements below. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor spaces.

Yes. The Iliada ships with a remote control that pairs with the integrated TRIAC/0-10V dimmable driver. The remote allows brightness adjustment without requiring additional wall-mounted dimmer switches or control wiring.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable cables allow drop lengths between 50cm and 350cm. For double-height entrance halls or stairwells, ceiling heights of 3m or above work best to give the cluster visual presence. In lower ceilings the cables can be shortened, but the 70cm canopy diameter and 15kg weight make this more suited to taller spaces.

Can the cable lengths be set individually?

Yes. Each of the thirteen lights suspends on its own cable, allowing you to set uniform lengths for a tight column or stagger them for a cascading effect. Cable adjustments are made during installation before the canopy is fixed to the ceiling.

What fixing is required for the 15kg weight?

The 15kg total weight requires secure fixing to a joist or a reinforced ceiling rose rated for the load. Standard plasterboard fixings are not sufficient. If ceiling access is limited, consult a qualified electrician to confirm safe mounting before installation.
