Description

The Iguazu is a white outdoor wall light with two circular disc-shaped heads mounted on a curved arm that projects 180mm from the wall. Each head houses a GX53 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately) behind a flat diffuser that softens and spreads the light output. The heads are positioned at different angles along the curved arm, allowing each to direct light independently once installed.

Rated IP54, the fitting resists dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for installation on exterior walls exposed to rain and weathering. The 316mm width and 100mm height suit entrance porches, patio walls, external corridors and pathway lighting where ambient rather than focused light is needed. The white powder-coated aluminium finish pairs with rendered, painted or light-coloured masonry without adding visual weight to the wall.

The twin-head configuration provides wider light spread than single-bulb wall lights, reducing shadowed areas along a wall run or around a doorway. Each GX53 socket accepts low-profile LED bulbs typically rated between 7W and 11W, giving flexibility to choose light output and colour temperature depending on the installation context. The curved arm creates a slight three-dimensional profile that catches daylight and adds definition to flat exterior surfaces.

What does the IP54 rating mean?

IP54 means the fitting is protected against dust ingress that would interfere with operation, and protected against water splashes from any direction. It can be installed on exterior walls exposed to rain but should not be positioned where it will be submerged or subjected to direct pressure-washing.

What bulbs does it take?

The Iguazu takes two GX53 bulbs (sold separately). GX53 is a low-profile disc-shaped fitting commonly available in LED versions between 7W and 11W. Most users choose warm white (2700K-3000K) for outdoor ambient lighting.

Is it dimmable?

No. The fitting is not compatible with dimmer switches. GX53 LED bulbs are typically non-dimmable unless specifically marked otherwise, and attempting to dim them can cause flickering or premature failure.

Can the heads be adjusted after installation?

The heads are fixed at the angles set during manufacture. The curved arm positions them at different orientations along its length, but they do not rotate or tilt independently once the fitting is mounted to the wall.
