Description

The Iguazu is a compact outdoor wall light with a single pivoting head mounted on a curved arm that projects from a rectangular anthracite backplate. The head houses a GX53 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately) behind a frosted diffuser that spreads soft ambient light across exterior walls, pathways and entry points. The head rotates on its arm, allowing the light to be angled up, down or straight out depending on the surface being lit.

Designed for residential porches, side entries, pathway lighting and small courtyard areas where a low-key architectural fitting is needed, the Iguazu carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. This makes it suitable for covered outdoor positions but not for fully exposed weather-facing installations. The 176mm projection from the wall and 180mm height keep the fitting compact enough for narrow passageways and recessed door alcoves without protruding into foot traffic.

The anthracite powder-coated finish provides a dark neutral tone that pairs with charcoal render, dark timber cladding, slate tiles and matt black framing. Does the Iguazu come with a bulb?

No. The fitting takes a GX53 bulb sold separately. Most users pair it with a 7-9W warm white LED GX53 disc bulb at 2700K-3000K for ambient outdoor lighting.

Can it be used in fully exposed outdoor positions?

The IP54 rating provides protection against dust and water splashes, making it suitable for covered porches, recessed entries and sheltered pathway positions. It is not rated for fully weather-exposed installations such as open-facing walls without eaves or canopy protection.

Is the head adjustable?

Yes. The head pivots on the curved arm, allowing the light direction to be angled up towards the wall, down towards the ground, or straight out. This is set during installation and is not intended for regular adjustment once fitted.

What mounting surface is required?

The rectangular backplate fixes to a standard UK outdoor electrical box or solid masonry wall with screws. The 0.85kg weight is light enough for most brick, block or timber-clad surfaces.
