Description
The Ignis is an 8W LED track spotlight with an extruded aluminium body finished in matt black powder coat, mounting on three-phase track systems via a twist-lock adapter. The cylindrical head rotates 350° on its horizontal plane and tilts 90° on its vertical axis, allowing light to be directed across accent walls, retail displays, artwork or architectural features.
Designed for retail, galleries, hospitality and residential track installations, the Ignis delivers a focused beam of 3000K warm white light at CRI80 colour rendering. The 110mm height and 51mm projection keep the fitting compact on ceiling-mounted track runs, while the 75mm body length houses the integrated LED driver and reflector. The spotlight runs on 230V three-phase track power without requiring individual mains wiring for each head.
The matt black finish minimises glare and reflections under ambient light, making the fitting less visible when spotlighting merchandise, paintings or shelving. The CRI80 rating provides accurate colour reproduction suitable for clothing, food displays, interior materials and artwork where colour fidelity matters. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only.

Frequently Asked
Is the Ignis dimmable?
No. The integrated 8W LED driver does not support dimming. If dimming is needed, consider a track system with a master dimmer controlling the entire circuit, though compatibility depends on the specific driver inside the Ignis.
What is three-phase track and is it compatible with single-phase track?
Three-phase track allows multiple independent circuits on the same rail, so different groups of spotlights can be switched separately. The Ignis requires three-phase track with a twist-lock adapter — it will not fit single-phase or two-wire track systems without an adapter.
What is the beam angle?
Ideal Lux does not publish a specific beam angle for the Ignis in the supplied data. Most compact track spotlights of this wattage deliver a medium to narrow beam between 24° and 40°, providing focused accent lighting rather than wide area coverage.
Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating means the Ignis is not protected against moisture or dust ingress. It must be installed in dry indoor environments only — not in bathrooms, wet rooms, covered outdoor areas or any location subject to condensation.
