Description

The Igeldo is a caged ceiling fan with light, built in iron with a matt black finish. A round wire guard encloses three black blades, and the fan hangs from a short downrod below a stepped ceiling canopy, standing 46cm tall and measuring 53cm in diameter. At the centre of the cage sits an integrated LED light behind a milky acrylic shade, rated at 15W and giving 1,800lm, so one fitting both moves the air and lights the room.

At 53cm across, the Igeldo suits rooms where a fan with long blades would crowd the ceiling: a dining room, a kitchen diner, a bedroom or a home office. Hung over a dining table, it gives a bright pool of light for meals and a cooling breeze on warm evenings, and the black wire cage makes a crisp, industrial shape against pale walls and natural wood. The light offers colour temperatures of 3000K, 4000K and 5000K, so you can choose a warmer light for a relaxed supper or a cooler, crisper light for working at a desk.

The body is iron in a matt black finish and the shade is milky acrylic, which softens the LEDs into an even glow. A remote control comes in the box, and the fan has three speeds, from a gentle movement of air to a stronger breeze on a close summer night. The light is not dimmable, which is worth knowing if you had planned to pair it with a dimmer switch. It runs on 220-240V, 50Hz mains as a wired fitting and is installed by a qualified electrician. The packed weight is 7.8KG, and with an integrated LED there is no separate bulb to fit.
