Description

The Idun-E is a round LED flush ceiling light: a slim black plastic ring framing a white plastic diffuser, sitting close to the ceiling with clean, simple lines. It measures 28.5cm across and just 3.1cm deep, so it suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low. The LED is integrated and gives 2,000lm of warm white light at 3000K. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms, and never in a bathroom or outdoors.

We would choose it for a living room, bedroom, hallway or home office, anywhere you want one even spread of light from a single point overhead. 2,000lm is a generous output for one ceiling light, while 3000K keeps the tone warm and relaxed rather than cold and clinical. The black ring draws a crisp outline against a pale ceiling and sits comfortably with dark shelving, black picture frames and monochrome schemes, and the white diffuser softens the LEDs so nobody is looking at bright points of light.
