Description

The Ice is a 2-light wall light with a polished chrome frame that curves into two separate arms, each holding a cube-shaped glass shade with faceted frosted and clear panels. An integrated rocker switch sits on the backplate, allowing the light to be operated directly at the wall without needing to wire into a separate switch circuit. Both G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the glass cubes, diffusing light through the frosted facets while the clear sections create directional accent reflections.

Designed for bedside positions, bathroom mirrors, hallways and dressing areas where local switching is needed, the Ice provides task and accent lighting in a 200mm-wide fitting that projects 150mm from the wall. The switch eliminates the need for a pull cord or separate wall switch, making it practical for retrofit installations where adding new switch wiring would be difficult. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with modern chrome taps, handles and mirror frames in bathrooms and contemporary bedrooms.

Each glass shade measures approximately 70mm across with a geometric faceted cut that breaks up the light output into multiple directions rather than a single downward beam. The combined weight of 0.93kg requires the wall light to be fixed to a solid wall or into a timber batten behind plasterboard, using the two fixing points on the backplate. The dimmable rating depends on pairing with dimmable G9 LED or halogen bulbs and a compatible dimmer on the circuit.

Yes. The rocker switch on the backplate controls both G9 bulbs simultaneously. There is no separate control for each arm.

What G9 bulbs work best with this fitting?

G9 LED bulbs between 3W-5W in 2700K-3000K warm white are typical for bedside or bathroom use. Halogen G9 bulbs up to 33W also fit but generate more heat. Bulbs are sold separately.

Can this be dimmed?

Dimming depends on using dimmable G9 bulbs and having a compatible dimmer on the lighting circuit. The fitting itself supports dimming, but non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim even with a dimmer present.

What wall fixing is needed?

The 0.93kg weight requires two secure fixings into a solid masonry wall using wall plugs and screws, or into a timber batten behind plasterboard. The backplate has two fixing holes spaced approximately 60mm apart.
