Description

The Ice is a 2-light wall light with two glass cube shades mounted on curved antique brass arms that extend from a circular backplate. Each shade is formed from clear glass with frosted interior panels, creating a layered effect when the G9 bulbs inside are lit. The arms curve outward and upward in opposite directions, giving the fitting a sculptural asymmetry.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms and living room walls where accent lighting is needed without full room illumination, the Ice provides directed light at two points from a single backplate. The 150mm projection from the wall means the shades sit forward enough to throw light both up and down the wall surface as well as into the room. The 200mm width and 130mm height make it compact enough to fit between doorways or above furniture without dominating the wall.

The antique brass finish on the metal framework shows a darker, aged patina compared to polished or brushed brass, giving warmer tones that pair with wood, terracotta, warm greys and traditional interior schemes. The frosted-clear glass cubes diffuse the light from the G9 bulbs while still allowing some definition of the bulb shape to be visible, creating an ice-cube-like effect that gives the fitting its name. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

The Ice takes two G9 capsule bulbs with a maximum combined power of 66W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 3-5W warm-white LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K for ambient wall lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. Standard non-dimmable G9 bulbs will work but cannot be dimmed.

The fitting projects 150mm from the wall when mounted. This allows the glass shades to throw light both up and down the wall surface as well as into the room.
