Ice 1 Light Wall Light - Satin Nickel

The Ice is a single-light wall fitting built around a curved satin nickel ribbon that sweeps from a circular backplate up and around a crystal cube shade. The G9 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the cube, and light refracts through the faceted crystal faces to cast soft patterns onto adjacent walls and ceilings. The satin nickel finish gives a brushed metallic surface that diffuses reflections rather than creating bright highlights.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and landings where accent or ambient light is needed without high lumen output, the Ice provides decorative function rather than task illumination. The 180mm height and 100mm width fit comfortably on walls between doors or beside mirrors, and the 180mm projection means the fitting stands clear of the wall without protruding into narrow circulation spaces. The curved ribbon frame gives the light a sculptural quality when viewed from the side.

The crystal cube shade measures approximately 50mm across each face and is cut with geometric facets that catch and scatter light unevenly depending on viewing angle. This creates visual interest when the lamp is on and a textured appearance when off. The satin nickel ribbon contrasts with the clear crystal, giving definition to the frame without competing with the glass. The fitting accepts G9 halogen or LED capsule bulbs up to 33W and is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.

What bulb does it take?

The Ice uses a G9 capsule bulb up to 33W. G9 LED equivalents of 3-5W are typical for this style of fitting and provide enough light for accent or ambient use. Bulbs are sold separately.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with a dimmable G9 bulb and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. Standard non-dimmable G9 LEDs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used on a dimmer circuit.

What size room does it suit?

The Ice is an accent or decorative light rather than a primary source. It suits bedrooms, hallways, landings and en-suites where soft ambient light is needed, typically in rooms up to 10-12m². For larger spaces or task lighting, pair with additional fittings.

How is the crystal shade cleaned?

The crystal cube can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth when the bulb is cool and the power is off. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystal or getting moisture into the lamp socket.
