Description
The Ice is a single-arm wall light with a curved antique brass frame extending from a circular backplate to hold a faceted glass cube shade. The shade is made from layered frosted and clear glass, cut with angular facets that refract light through multiple planes when the bulb is lit. The G9 socket sits inside the cube, and the light scatters through the frosted layer before passing through the clear outer facets.
Designed for hallways, bedrooms, and living room accent positions, the Ice provides directional ambient light with a compact 180mm projection from the wall. The curved arm positions the shade away from the mounting surface, reducing heat transfer to painted or papered walls. The 100mm width and 180mm height make it suitable for installation on narrow wall sections between doorframes or above side tables where a larger fitting would visually overwhelm the space.
The antique brass finish on the metalwork has a warmer, slightly darker tone than polished or brushed brass, with subtle oxidation effects that give the surface a lived-in quality rather than a high-polish shine. The finish pairs well with warm-toned interiors, oak and walnut furniture, and heritage-style colour schemes. The glass cube weighs 0.62kg total, giving the fitting enough presence to read as a decorative element when unlit, not just functional hardware.
The Ice accepts any G9 bulb up to 33W. Dimmable G9 LED bulbs are widely available in 2700K-3000K warm white, allowing brightness to be adjusted from low night lighting to full reading levels when paired with a compatible wall dimmer.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Ice uses a single G9 capsule bulb up to 33W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit a dimmable G9 LED bulb between 3-5W in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient hallway or bedroom lighting.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, when fitted with a dimmable G9 bulb and wired to a compatible wall dimmer switch. The fitting itself is dimmer-ready; you just need to ensure the bulb you purchase carries dimmable markings.
How far does it project from the wall?
The projection is 180mm from the mounting surface to the front edge of the glass shade. The curved arm positions the shade away from the wall, which reduces heat buildup against painted or wallpapered surfaces.
What is the difference between antique brass and polished brass?
Antique brass has a warmer, darker tone with subtle oxidation effects that give it a lived-in quality, while polished brass is bright, high-shine and reflective. Antique brass suits traditional and heritage interiors; polished brass suits contemporary and classical schemes.
