Description

The Ice is a 250mm-high table lamp built around a polished chrome frame holding a single frosted-clear glass cube shade with an internal G9 bulb fitting. The chrome arm arcs from a circular 180mm-diameter base, positioning the glass cube at a forward angle that directs light downward and outward across a desk or bedside surface.

Designed for bedside tables, desks and narrow console tables where space is limited, the Ice provides task and accent light from a 160mm footprint. The G9 fitting accepts halogen or LED capsule bulbs up to the fitting's rated wattage (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose colour temperature and brightness. The lamp is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and a dimmable G9 bulb.

The frosted-clear glass shade shows faceted surfaces that catch and scatter light in multiple directions when the bulb is on, creating prismatic reflections across the polished chrome frame. The chrome finish provides high reflectivity that works in both cool-toned and warm-toned interiors. The 1.6kg weight gives the lamp stability on flat surfaces without needing to be weighted further.

What bulb does it take?

The lamp uses a G9 capsule bulb (sold separately). G9 bulbs are available in LED and halogen variants. Most users choose a 3-5W LED G9 in warm white (2700K-3000K) for desk or bedside use.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. Check that both the bulb and dimmer are rated for the load before installing.

What size desk or table does it suit?

The 180mm-wide base fits comfortably on bedside tables, desks and narrow consoles. The 250mm height positions the light source at eye level when seated, making it suitable for reading or task lighting without being too tall for a standard desk.

How is the glass shade cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe the frosted-clear glass with a dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or dust buildup, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome fittings or bulb socket.
