Description

This resin photo frame says it simply, with "I love my daddy" written in silver-colour lettering across the top of a soft blue surround. It is a portrait frame that takes a 6 x 4in photograph in its rectangular opening, and a small silver-colour heart sits neatly beneath the picture as a finishing touch. A slim stepped edge runs around the outside, giving the plain blue border a tidy, finished outline. Overall it measures 20cm tall, 14.5cm wide and 1.5cm deep, a compact size that keeps all the attention on the photograph inside.

We think it makes a heartfelt gift for dads, the sort of present a little one can give with plenty of help from the grown-ups around them. Slip in a favourite photograph of the two of them together, a first cuddle or a lazy weekend morning, and it turns into a keepsake he will want to keep close for years. The words do the talking, so there is no need for a long card. The soft blue and silver-colour detailing sit happily alongside most colour schemes, so it feels at home in a living room, a study or a bedroom.

The frame is made of resin, which gives it a smooth, even surface and crisp edges, with the lettering and heart picked out in silver colour against the blue. Looking after it is easy: dust it with a soft dry cloth, and a lightly damp cloth will lift fingerprints from the surround; we would steer clear of harsh cleaners, which can dull the finish. Choose the photograph before you wrap it, so the frame is ready to show the moment it is opened, and dad has his favourite picture in place from the very first day.
