Description

This ribbed stoneware mug carries a Hurricane aircraft across its front, drawn from above in brown and sand camouflage with red and blue roundels on the wings. Beneath it, the name Hurricane is printed in sandy capitals. The body is glazed a deep, glossy green, with soft ridges running around it and a gentle taper towards the rim, and it settles on a pale beige band at the foot, left with a raw, speckled look. It holds 11oz and measures 9cm tall, 12cm wide and 9.3cm deep, while the back is plain green so the glaze and its ridges do the talking.
