The Huevo Ball is a 350mm opal white polyethylene sphere designed as an outdoor table lamp, taking a single E27 bulb (sold separately). The sphere sits directly on flat surfaces without a separate base, functioning as both light fitting and diffuser. The polyethylene construction is rated IP65, protecting the internal lampholder from water jets and dust ingress for year-round outdoor placement.

Designed for patios, garden tables, decking edges and pathway lighting, the 350mm diameter gives the sphere enough presence to sit on its own or in multiples along a larger outdoor dining table or terrace edge. The opal white finish diffuses the light output evenly across the entire sphere surface, creating ambient rather than directional light. The smooth polyethylene shell resists UV degradation and temperature variation better than glass equivalents, making it suitable for exposed outdoor positions.

The E27 lampholder accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to the maximum wattage specified by Mantra (refer to the Specification table). Most users pair the Huevo Ball with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to create soft ambient light without glare. The sphere weighs 1.6kg when empty, giving it stability on flat surfaces in moderate wind without needing to be anchored.
