The Hosmane is a six-light linear pendant light built around a long steel beam, shaped like a girder and finished in a mottled antique brown that gives it the look of weathered metal. Black cables wind around the beam before dropping to black lamp holders, which leave each bulb bare with no shade. The beam is 100.5cm long and 7cm wide, and the light has an overall height of 110cm. It takes E27 bulbs, up to 60W in each of its six holders, and the bulbs are not included, so the choice of lamp is yours. Its IP20 rating means it belongs indoors, in a dry room.

Hung over a dining table or a kitchen island, the Hosmane spreads light along the whole surface, where a single pendant would leave the ends of the table in shadow. The rugged brown beam and black cables suit an industrial or loft look, and sit comfortably alongside exposed brick, reclaimed wood and dark metal furniture. It works as well over a long desk or a breakfast bar in an open-plan room, giving a clear line of light that helps zone the space.
