Description

The Holland is a 6-light wall or semi-flush ceiling fitting from Mantra, built around six curved metal stems finished in brown and black oxide. Each stem supports a tulip-shaped glass shade in amber and clear tones, housing a G9 bulb (sold separately). The stems extend from a central rectangular wall plate with decorative leaf-form metalwork, and a built-in rocker switch allows the light to be controlled without wiring to a separate wall switch.

Designed to be mounted either on the ceiling as a semi-flush fitting or on the wall as a multi-arm wall light, the Holland suits living rooms, dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms where ambient rather than task lighting is needed. The 540mm width and 730mm overall height make it a prominent feature on a wall, while the 150mm projection keeps it clear of furniture when used as a wall sconce. The six shades distribute light across a wider area than a single-source pendant, reducing hard shadows and creating a softer ambient glow.

The brown and black oxide finish is applied over forged metal, giving a warm, aged appearance that pairs with wood furniture, terracotta, warm greys and earth-toned textiles. The amber-tinted glass diffuses the light from each G9 bulb, softening the output and creating a warm wash across walls and ceilings when lit. The fixture weighs 2.9kg and requires appropriate wall fixings or ceiling rose support depending on the mounting surface.
