Description

The Holland is a 6-light linear pendant built around a telescopic black oxide central column, from which six curved brown oxide arms extend symmetrically in a branched formation. Each arm terminates in an amber-and-clear glass tulip shade housing a G9 bulb (sold separately). The shades are oriented upward with the amber glass wrapping the lower half and clear glass forming the upper portion, creating a layered light effect when lit.

Designed for dining tables and kitchen islands in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Holland's 500mm horizontal spread suits tables up to 1.8m long. The telescopic central column adjusts from 500mm to 1120mm drop during installation, allowing the fitting to be set 700-900mm above a table surface depending on ceiling height. The black oxide canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the cable runs through the central column.

The brown oxide finish on the arms reads as a warm, aged bronze tone rather than pure brown, with slight tonal variation across the metal surface. Each arm curves outward from the central column before curving upward to hold the shade, with a subtle leaf-form detail pressed into the metal near the shade cup. The combined weight of the metal frame and six glass shades gives the fitting a 3.4kg presence. The G9 sockets accept standard UK G9 capsule bulbs up to 40W each and are compatible with dimmable G9 LEDs when paired with an appropriate dimmer.

Does the Holland come with bulbs?

No, G9 bulbs are sold separately. The fitting takes six G9 capsule bulbs up to 40W each. Most users pair this with warm-white G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K to complement the amber glass tone.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming, but the bulbs must be dimmable-rated and the dimmer must be suitable for LED loads.

What table length does it suit?

The 500mm horizontal spread works well over dining tables up to 1.8m long and kitchen islands up to 1.5m. For longer surfaces, consider positioning two Holland fittings in series or choosing a longer linear pendant.

How is the drop adjusted?

The central column is telescopic and adjusts between 500mm and 1120mm during installation. Once set and fixed in position, the drop cannot be adjusted without re-accessing the canopy.
