Designed for bathrooms, ensuite shower rooms and utility rooms where moisture resistance matters, the Hendrik provides general ambient lighting across a 3-4m² floor area. The three included 3W LED G9 bulbs deliver 3000K warm white light through the opal glass, softening the output to avoid harsh shadows on bathroom mirrors or worktops. The polished chrome finish on the canopy and stepped base detail reflects surrounding light and pairs with chrome taps, towel rails and shower fittings.

The opal glass shade diffuses light evenly in all directions rather than creating a focused beam, so the fitting works as a ceiling wash where the entire room needs gentle illumination rather than task lighting at a specific point. The stepped chrome base detail beneath the glass adds visual interest when viewed from below, breaking up what would otherwise be a plain glass hemisphere. At 381mm diameter the fitting suits bathrooms of 6-9m² without overwhelming smaller spaces.

Which bathroom zones can the Hendrik be installed in?

Are the LED bulbs replaceable?

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting projects 253mm from the ceiling. In a room with a 2.4m ceiling height, the base of the fitting sits at approximately 2.15m, giving adequate headroom in typical bathroom layouts. Lower ceilings of 2.2m or less may feel cramped with this fitting.

Can the Hendrik be dimmed?
