Description

The Hemisferic is a 110cm curved linear pendant light with an integrated 28W LED housed behind a frosted acrylic diffuser, mounted on a polished chrome frame. The gentle arc of the bar gives the fitting a softer profile than straight linear pendants, allowing it to follow the curve of a kitchen island or dining table without the rigid geometry of a flat bar. The integrated LED delivers 2520 lumens at 3000K through a 120° beam angle, casting diffused warm white light downwards.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living spaces where linear coverage is needed across a 2-3m surface, the Hemisferic suits ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m. The adjustable suspension cables allow the drop to be set between 120mm and 1100mm on installation, giving flexibility to position the light 700-900mm above a worktop or 750-850mm above a dining table. The chrome canopy conceals the cable entry point and fixes to a standard UK ceiling rose.

The satin aluminium body with polished chrome detailing gives the fitting a contemporary finish that pairs with both warm-toned and cool-toned interiors. The frosted acrylic diffuser eliminates visible LED spotting and creates an even wash of light along the full 110cm length. At 2.27kg the fitting has enough weight to resist movement from air currents without requiring structural ceiling support beyond a standard plasterboard fixing. The 28W power consumption is equivalent to replacing a 180W halogen bar with significantly lower running costs.

Is the Hemisferic dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at a fixed 28W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The 2520lm output at 3000K is designed for general ambient and task lighting over dining and kitchen surfaces.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The adjustable suspension allows drops between 120mm and 1100mm, making it suitable for ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m. For a dining table the fitting typically hangs 750-850mm above the surface; for a kitchen island 700-900mm is more common.

How wide is the light bar itself?

The curved bar measures 110cm in length (the arc follows approximately 710mm width as listed in the specification). The canopy at the ceiling is 70mm deep and conceals the cable entry points.

Can the acrylic diffuser be cleaned?

Yes. The frosted acrylic can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth once the fitting is cool and isolated from mains power. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may scratch or cloud the acrylic surface.
