Description

The Helvarn is a 650mm table lamp built around a solid rectangular marble column measuring 400mm tall by 200mm wide, capped with brushed brass Greek-key corner brackets at top and bottom. A short brass stem rises from the top face of the stone to a single E27 lamp holder, finished with a rectangular white PVC shade. The marble shows natural grey veining that varies between pieces.

Designed as a sideboard, console or hallway lamp, the Helvarn suits surfaces 1m wide or larger where the 400mm length of the base sits comfortably without dominating. The rectangular shade casts light forward and back along the long axis rather than evenly in all directions, making the lamp well suited to flanking a mirror or sitting against a wall behind a sofa. The E27 fitting accepts standard screw-cap bulbs (sold separately).

The architectural detailing is the defining feature: angular brass brackets wrap each corner of the marble in stepped geometry, fixed flush to the stone faces so the brass reads as inlay rather than applied trim.
