Description

This wooden plaque welcomes the turn of the season with the words HELLO Autumn IT'S NICE TO SEE YOU printed across its warm brown face. The lettering is soft cream, with Autumn picked out in a flowing script between neat capitals. A border of autumn leaves in rust, gold, peach and cream runs along the top and bottom edges, dotted with acorns, pine cones and little red berries. It is made from MDF with a printed finish, and it is a slim rectangular block 30cm wide, 6cm high and 3cm deep, so the words read clearly at a glance.

Its long, low shape suits the places where a short line of words works best: along a mantelpiece, on a bookshelf, across a sideboard or on a windowsill. As a solid block 3cm deep, it sits upright on a flat surface. That means it needs no nail in the wall, and it moves easily from room to room as the season settles in.
