The Knightsbridge non-corrosive LED batten is a sealed IP66 34/42/51/60W weatherproof fitting in grey, built for garages, workshops, car parks and damp areas.

Its sealed IP66 polycarbonate body resists dust and water, making it ideal for garages, workshops, car parks and damp or sheltered outdoor areas where a standard fitting would not survive.

It is constructed from polycarbonate. It is certified to BS EN 60598-1 and IP66 rated.

What does IP66 mean?

IP66 means the fitting is fully dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets from any direction — ideal for washdown and exposed environments.

Can these be linked together?

Through-wiring models allow several fittings to be run from one supply where stated in the specification. Installation should be carried out by a competent person in accordance with BS 7671.

Are they suitable for outdoor use?

They suit sheltered outdoor and unheated indoor areas to their stated IP rating; they are not intended for full submersion.
