The Helix is a 520mm-high LED table lamp built around a continuous polished chrome ribbon twisted into a helical spiral from a circular base up to a tapered tip. An integrated 20W LED strip runs along the inner curve of the spiral, casting 1600 lumens of warm 3000K light both upward through the chrome coil and outward onto surrounding surfaces. The polished chrome surface reflects and multiplies the warm LED glow, creating ambient lighting with a sculptural presence.

Designed for console tables, sideboards and side tables in living rooms, hallways and bedrooms, the Helix functions as both a light source and a decorative object. The 260mm base footprint keeps it stable on narrow surfaces, while the vertical spiral form draws the eye upward without occupying much horizontal space. The lamp plugs into mains power and sits on any flat surface without needing wall mounting or ceiling fixing.

The chrome ribbon is formed from a single continuous piece of metal, bent and polished to a mirror finish that catches daylight and room light when the LED is off, and intensifies the warm glow when switched on. The integrated LED cannot be replaced but is rated for tens of thousands of hours of use. The lamp is not dimmable. The combination of polished chrome and warm white light pairs well with modern interiors that use metallics, glass and neutral tones.

Is the Helix dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at fixed brightness on 220-240V mains. It cannot be paired with dimmer switches.

Can the LED be replaced when it fails?

The LED is integrated into the chrome ribbon and cannot be user-replaced. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, which equates to around 10 years at 7 hours per day. The entire lamp would need replacing if the LED fails outside the warranty period.

What brightness does it provide?

The lamp outputs 1600 lumens at 3000K warm white, comparable to a 100W traditional incandescent bulb. This provides sufficient ambient light for a living room or bedroom but is not intense enough for task lighting such as reading or desk work.

How is the chrome cleaned?

Polished chrome can be wiped with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or smudges, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, then dry immediately to avoid water spots. Do not use abrasive cleaners or polishes that can scratch the mirror finish.
