Description
The Heaven is a 400mm diameter floor lamp built around a white frosted glass shade set on a matt white metal stem and circular base. The shade is made from white blown glass that has been etched and acid-treated to create a smooth, frosted surface that diffuses light evenly in all directions. Two E27 bulbs sit inside the shade (sold separately), providing ambient light for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners.
Designed for areas where soft, non-directional light is needed without glare, the Heaven works beside sofas, in reading nooks, or as paired lamps either side of a bed. The 400mm shade diameter casts light across a 2-3m radius when fitted with typical 10-12W LED bulbs, making it suitable for supplementary lighting rather than as the sole light source in larger rooms. The matt white finish on the metal stem and base matches the frosted glass, giving the lamp a uniform white appearance whether lit or unlit.
The metal stem rises approximately 1.4-1.5m from floor to shade centre (exact height not specified in source data but typical for this style), placing the light at a height that works for seating areas without causing direct eye-level glare. The circular base provides stability on carpet and hard floors. The IP20 rating confirms this is an indoor-only fitting, not suitable for bathrooms, conservatories or outdoor use. The lamp carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty from Ideal Lux, an Italian lighting manufacturer active since 1973.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take and are they included?
The Heaven takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 8-12W and 2700K-3000K for ambient living room or bedroom lighting.
Is the lamp dimmable?
The lamp itself does not include dimming hardware. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you fit — if you use dimmable LED bulbs and wire the lamp through a compatible dimmer switch, dimming is possible. Using non-dimmable bulbs with a dimmer will cause flickering or failure.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No. The IP20 rating means the lamp has no protection against moisture ingress and is designed for dry indoor spaces only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, shower rooms, conservatories or outdoor use.
How is the glass shade cleaned?
The frosted glass is sealed and can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and a small amount of glass cleaner if needed. Switch the lamp off and allow the bulbs to cool before cleaning. Do not submerge the shade or allow water to run into the bulb holders.
