Description

The Hawthorne is a 280mm diameter flush ceiling light with a polished chrome circular frame bordered by square-cut crystal elements, an opal glass diffuser panel, and an integrated 18W LED rated at 4000K cool white. The 140mm height from ceiling to base suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or lower where a pendant would hang too close to head level.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms (check IP rating in specification), and compact living spaces where ceiling clearance is limited, the Hawthorne provides 1050 lumens of cool white light evenly diffused through the opal glass. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral white that sits between warm ambient lighting and clinical daylight, making it suitable for task-oriented rooms where colour accuracy matters. The flush mount fixes directly to a standard ceiling rose without requiring additional chain, cable or drop rod.

The square-cut crystals sit in a single row around the outer edge of the chrome frame, catching overhead and side light to add a degree of sparkle without the cascading effect of a full chandelier. The polished chrome finish on the metal frame reflects light cleanly and pairs with modern and transitional interiors that favour cooler metallic tones over brass or gold. The integrated LED cannot be replaced as a separate bulb, so the fixture's working lifespan depends on the LED module's rated hours.

The 2kg weight requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or a reinforced plasterboard anchor rated for the load. The voltage range of 100-240V means the fixture is compatible with UK mains supply and can be used in international markets with appropriate wiring.
