This wooden mantel plaque brings the Hogwarts Express steaming across a starry night sky, ready to stand on a shelf or mantelpiece. The cut-out panel follows the outline of the scene: the red engine with its number 5972 and a little Hogwarts Express nameplate on the front, its carriage close behind, the round Platform 9¾ sign in gold and cream, and a snowy owl perched on top of a stack of three travelling trunks in red, orange and white. Small gold stars are scattered over the dark navy background. The panel sits in a gold-toned wooden base printed with the words Hogwarts Express in deep navy capitals, so the scene reads clearly from across the room.
