Description

This Hogwarts Express wall banner shows the famous train steaming across a deep burgundy ground, picked out in pink, white and shimmering gold. The words HOGWARTS and EXPRESS frame the train in decorative lettering, and beneath the train come A MAGICAL JOURNEY and LONDON TO HOGWARTS, with a round PLATFORM 9¾ stamp to one side and little gold stars scattered across the field. The base is cut to a point and edged with a thick pale gold fringe, and a matching tassel with a round HOGWARTS charm hangs from one corner of the top. It measures 64cm high and 25cm wide.

Hung from its cord on a single hook or picture nail, it brings a piece of the Harry Potter story to a bedroom wall, a study, a reading corner or a games room. The burgundy and gold sit happily with dark wood, bookshelves and warm lamplight, and the tall, narrow shape fits the slim spaces other pictures cannot: beside a bookcase, on a door, or between two windows.
