This Christmas stocking brings the Hogwarts Express steaming out of a starry night, its navy blue front printed with the famous engine and picked out in shiny gold. Gold lettering spelling out Hogwarts runs across the sky above the train, and small gold stars are scattered over the body and the wide black cuff. A fine gold edging follows the outline all the way round, and a gold tassel hangs from the corner of the cuff beside a twisted gold cord. It measures 58.9cm from top to toe and 37.7cm across, with a depth of 4.7cm, so there is generous room inside for presents.

Hang it from the mantelpiece, a staircase newel post, a bedpost or a door handle on Christmas Eve, and it works just as well as a seasonal decoration right through December. The navy blue and gold sit happily beside traditional reds and greens, and look especially good with a darker scheme of navy, black and gold baubles.
