Description

This light up lantern brings the Hogwarts crest to a shelf or bookcase, glowing from within its glass and plastic frame. The crest sits on the front panel in full colour, with the lion, the serpent, the badger and the eagle quartered around a central H, and the motto DRACO DORMIENS NUNQUAM TITILLANDUS running along the banner beneath. Behind it stands a candle-style light, so the crest is lit from inside when the light is on. The square frame has a pitched roof, a ring at the top and a stepped base, all in a brushed gold finish with an aged, antique look that sits well with the crest. It stands 35cm tall, 13.5cm wide and 13.5cm deep, a good size for a shelf without crowding it.

Because it runs on batteries, the lantern needs no plug socket, so it can go wherever it looks best: a bedroom shelf, a bookcase, a mantelpiece, a hallway console or the corner of a study desk.
