Description
This metal hanging decoration brings a Hogwarts flying lesson to the Christmas tree in glossy green and bright gold. Its arched, cut-out outline frames the words Flying Lesson in curling gold lettering, with a little star between them, above a row of castle battlements and two crossed broomsticks set against gold lightning bolts. HOGWARTS sits in small capitals beneath the brooms, and a fine gold rim follows every curve of the outline. The front is finished in smooth green epoxy over the metal, so each gold line stands out clearly against it. It measures 16.5cm high and 10cm wide, and at just 0.3cm deep it sits flat and light wherever it hangs.
It is at home on the Christmas tree, where the green ribbon loop slips over a branch and lets the plaque turn gently among the baubles and lights. It hangs just as happily from a garland along the mantelpiece, a wreath on an inside door or a hook on a bedroom shelf, and nothing says it has to come down when the rest of the decorations are packed away. Flat and light, it also makes a thoughtful Christmas gift on its own, slipped inside a card or added to a stocking.
The decoration is one metal piece, its front filled with green epoxy and its back left plain in gold with a shiny edge. A small clip at the top of the back holds the ribbon in place, and the ribbon itself is green with Harry Potter printed along it in gold. To keep it bright, dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe the front gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. When the season ends, wrap it in tissue paper and store it flat so the gold stays clean for next year. Hang it at eye level near the tree lights and the gold rim catches every glow.

Frequently Asked
How big is this decoration?
It measures 16.5cm high, 10cm wide and just 0.3cm deep, so it is flat and light enough for a slender branch on the tree.
What is it made of?
It is metal with a glossy green epoxy front and gold lettering, rim and back. It hangs on a green ribbon printed with Harry Potter in gold.
How does it hang?
A green ribbon loop is fixed to the top of the back with a small clip, so it slips straight over a tree branch, a hook or a garland.
What does the design show?
The front reads Flying Lesson in gold, with two crossed broomsticks, castle battlements, lightning bolts and little stars, and HOGWARTS in small capitals beneath the brooms.
How should I look after it?
Dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe the front gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry it at once. Store it flat between seasons.
Does it make a good Christmas gift?
Yes. It is flat and light, so it makes a thoughtful Christmas gift on its own, tucked into a card or added to a stocking.
