Description

The Harbor is a 3-light crystal wall light built on a polished chrome metal frame, with rows of cut crystal pearls draped across a curved backing plate and a circular sandblasted glass panel closing the base. Each of the three G9 bulb holders (bulbs sold separately) sits behind the crystal layer, so when lit the fitting casts light both through the crystal strands and downward through the frosted glass diffuser.

Designed for hallways, living room feature walls, and either side of mirrors in bedrooms or dressing rooms, the Harbor mounts 120mm from the wall and spans 255mm horizontally. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor locations — bathrooms and outdoor installations are not suitable. The fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible G9 LED or halogen bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch, allowing the light level to be adjusted for different times of day.

The polished chrome finish on the metal frame provides a reflective surface that amplifies the sparkle from the cut crystal pearls when the light is on. Each pearl is faceted to catch and refract light, creating small points of brightness across the wall and ceiling. The sandblasted glass at the base softens the direct output from the bulbs, preventing harsh glare while maintaining a warm glow. The combined weight of the metal frame, crystal and glass gives the fitting a solid presence without overwhelming smaller walls.

The Harbor takes three G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. G9 LED bulbs between 2W-5W in warm white (2700K-3000K) are the most common pairing. Check the maximum wattage rating on the product label before installing halogen G9 bulbs.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, the fitting is dimmable when used with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Not all G9 LED bulbs dim smoothly — choose bulbs specifically marked as dimmable and check dimmer compatibility before purchase.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the Harbor is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It does not carry the splash or moisture protection required for bathroom zones. For bathroom lighting, choose fittings with IP44 or higher ratings.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the mains and allow the bulbs to cool. Wipe the crystal pearls gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame or getting moisture inside the bulb holders.
