Happy Home House Square Glass Suncatcher with Ribbon - Clear

This glass suncatcher carries a little house with a brown pitched roof and a tall chimney, set between two clusters of green leaves topped with soft yellow and orange flowers. Beneath it, the words 'happy home' are printed in a simple typewriter-style lettering. The clear, square pane sits in a thin black frame and hangs from a black ribbon loop, so daylight passes all around the design and the little house seems to float in the window. It is slim, just 1.2cm deep, so it hangs neatly against the glass.

Hang it in a kitchen window, on a landing, in a hallway or by the front door, anywhere daylight comes through, and the clear glass lets the view beyond show around the house and flowers. The words make it a natural fit for an entrance, a small greeting for everyone coming in. Because the design is gentle and simple, it sits happily on its own on a hook or among other pieces hung in the same window. We think it suits anyone who likes a cheerful word about the house, and it makes a thoughtful little gift for a friend or relative who loves their home.

The design sits on the glass, held in its narrow black frame, with a small ring at the top through which the ribbon is threaded and knotted. Being glass, it is best hung from a secure hook, clear of doors that swing. To keep it bright, dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe away marks with a barely damp one and dry it straight after, keeping the ribbon dry. Hang it a little away from the window frame so it can turn gently in the light, or wrap it in tissue as a cheerful present that says it all.
