Description

The Hanok V2 is a 1.2m linear pendant light with an integrated 38W LED housed inside a matt black extruded aluminium body measuring 1200mm long and 48mm wide. The frosted diffuser along the underside spreads 2650 lumens of 3000K warm white light in a 45° beam angle, providing downward task and ambient illumination without visible diodes or hot spots.

Designed for kitchen islands, office desks, reception counters and dining tables, the Hanok V2 mounts from a linear ceiling plate with adjustable suspension cables allowing drop adjustment between 100mm and 1600mm. At minimum drop the light sits close to the ceiling as a semi-flush bar; at full extension it can be positioned 700-900mm above a worktop or table surface. The horizontal linear form works over surfaces from 1.2m to 2m in length, with multiple units installable in parallel runs for longer spans.

The matt black powder-coated aluminium body absorbs light rather than reflecting it, keeping visual focus on the illuminated surface below rather than the fitting itself. The 45° beam angle concentrates light downward with controlled spread, reducing spill onto walls and ceilings in comparison to wider-angle linear lights. At 2.8kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixing into joists or a ceiling support rated for the combined weight of the light and the drop cables under tension.

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 38W output on 220-240V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

What surface length does the 1.2m version suit?

The 1.2m Hanok V2 works over kitchen islands, dining tables and desks between 1.2m and 2m in length. For longer surfaces, multiple units can be installed in parallel runs with coordinated spacing.

How is the drop height adjusted?

The suspension cables attach to the ceiling plate and can be shortened or lengthened during installation between 100mm minimum and 1600mm maximum. Adjustment requires access to the ceiling fixings.

What colour temperature is the LED?
