Description
The Hanok V1 is a 1.2m linear LED suspension light built around a slim aluminium housing finished in matt black, with an integrated 38W LED strip behind a frosted diffuser. The LED emits 2800 lumens at 4000K cool white through a 45° beam angle, directing light downwards and slightly outwards rather than scattering it evenly in all directions. The housing measures 48mm wide and 1200mm long, giving a discreet profile once suspended.
Designed for kitchen islands, office desks, dining tables and retail counter lighting where bright, directed task light is needed, the Hanok suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The suspension drop adjusts between 100mm and 1600mm on installation, allowing the fitting to be positioned close to the ceiling as a flush-mount linear or dropped low over a worktop. The matt black finish pairs well with industrial, contemporary and minimalist interiors, and the narrow 48mm width keeps the visual presence compact even at full 1.2m length.
The aluminium body acts as both the frame and the heat sink for the integrated LED, keeping the fitting lightweight at 2.8kg despite the 1.2m span. The frosted diffuser softens the LED strip output to prevent visible hotspots along the length of the fitting, while the 45° beam angle concentrates light onto the surface below rather than allowing it to spread into surrounding areas. The LED is non-dimmable and runs on standard 220-240V mains without requiring external drivers.

Frequently Asked
Is the Hanok dimmable?
No. The integrated LED runs at fixed brightness on 220-240V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches.
What height should the fitting be above a kitchen island or desk?
Most installations position the fitting 700-900mm above the worktop or table surface. The adjustable drop between 100-1600mm allows flexibility to suit different ceiling heights and task requirements.
What is the beam angle and how does it affect light distribution?
The 45° beam angle directs light downwards and slightly outwards, concentrating the 2800lm output onto the surface below rather than spreading it widely into the surrounding room. This makes the fitting effective for task lighting over defined areas.
Can multiple Hanok fittings be linked or run from the same ceiling point?
Each Hanok fitting requires its own mains connection and ceiling fixing point. For continuous linear lighting across longer spans, multiple fittings can be installed side-by-side with minimal gaps between the 1.2m sections.
