Description

The Hanok is a 41cm linear LED wall light with an integrated 14W LED module producing 1000 lumens of 4000K cool white light. The rectangular white metal body measures 410mm wide by 67mm high by 70mm projection from the wall, with the LED strip behind an opal diffuser running the full length of the fitting.

Designed for hallways, staircases, utility rooms and home offices where crisp functional light is needed, the Hanok can be mounted horizontally above mirrors or worktops, or vertically as accent lighting beside doorways or at the ends of corridors. The 110° beam angle spreads light evenly across adjacent surfaces rather than concentrating it in a narrow cone. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white (2700K-3000K) and daylight (5000K+), providing neutral illumination that neither warms nor cools the perceived tone of wall colours.

The white powder-coated aluminium body carries a clean, minimal profile that works with modern and contemporary interiors without adding visual weight to the wall. At 1.1kg the fitting requires secure fixing into masonry or a stud wall rather than plasterboard alone. The integrated LED is not user-replaceable but is rated for 25,000+ hours of continuous operation, equivalent to approximately 10 years at 7 hours daily use. The fitting is not dimmable and operates on standard 220-240V UK mains.

Can the Hanok be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED module is not compatible with dimmer switches and must be connected directly to a standard switched circuit.

What is 4000K cool white light?

4000K sits between warm white (2700K-3000K) and daylight (5000K-6500K) on the colour temperature scale. It produces neutral white light without the yellow cast of warm white or the blue-toned cast of daylight bulbs, making it well-suited to task lighting in kitchens, offices and utility areas.

Can it be mounted vertically as well as horizontally?

Yes. The Hanok can be installed horizontally above mirrors or worktops, or vertically beside doorways or at corridor ends. The mounting orientation does not affect light distribution or LED performance.

What wall fixing is required?

At 1.1kg the fitting should be fixed into masonry, brick or timber studs using appropriate wall plugs and screws. Plasterboard-only fixing is not recommended without toggle fixings or a backing board behind the plasterboard.
