Description
The Halo is a 150cm linear LED pendant light built around an aluminium body finished in brass, with an integrated 48W LED strip running the full length of the fitting. The LED is fixed at 4000K, producing a neutral white light suited to task-focused environments where colour accuracy matters, kitchen islands, office desks, workshop benches, or dining tables used for homework and crafts as well as eating.
Designed for spaces with rectangular surfaces that benefit from distributed light along their length rather than a single point source, the Halo's 150cm span covers a typical 1.6-1.8m kitchen island or a 1.8-2m dining table without leaving dark zones at either end. The suspension cables are adjustable up to 120cm drop, allowing the fitting to be set 70-90cm above a worktop or table surface depending on ceiling height and room proportions. The brass finish on the aluminium housing provides warmth against the cooler 4000K light, softening the clinical edge that neutral white LEDs can sometimes carry.
The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge LED dimmer, allowing the output to be reduced from full brightness down to a low ambient level for evening dining or background illumination. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor environments, it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or unconditioned spaces. The 6cm width keeps the profile slim enough not to obstruct sightlines across a table, while the aluminium construction and brass finish give the fitting a robust 2.8kg presence that reads as intentional rather than temporary.

Frequently Asked
Is the Halo dimmable?
Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when used with a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge LED dimmer. Not all dimmers work with all LEDs, if you experience flickering or buzzing, the dimmer may need upgrading to an LED-compatible model.
What is 4000K and is it suitable for dining?
4000K is a neutral white colour temperature, cooler than the warm white (2700-3000K) typically used in living rooms and bedrooms, but warmer than the daylight white (5000K+) used in industrial settings. It works well over kitchen islands and desks where task accuracy is needed, and is acceptable over dining tables in contemporary or Scandinavian-style interiors. For a warmer, more traditional dining ambiance, consider a 3000K alternative if available in this range.
What length table or island does it suit?
The 150cm length suits tables and islands between 1.6m and 2m long. For longer surfaces, consider using two Halo fittings in parallel, spaced 80-100cm apart. For shorter tables under 1.4m, a 120cm or 100cm linear fitting would be better proportioned.
Can the suspension height be adjusted after installation?
The suspension cables can be adjusted at the ceiling canopy during installation up to a maximum 120cm drop. Once installed and the excess cable is trimmed, further adjustment requires re-accessing the canopy and may not be possible without replacing the cables.
