Description

The Halmstad Large Bollard is an 850mm outdoor post light built from treated pine timber and galvanised steel, with an opal polycarbonate diffuser at the top that houses an E27 bulb (sold separately, up to 60W). The timber column provides the main structure, with steel cap, base and horizontal guard bars wrapping the diffuser. The bollard is rated IP65 for outdoor installation in exposed locations including coastal areas.

Designed for pathway lighting, driveway edges and garden borders where a taller post is needed to project light above low planting, the 850mm height gives sufficient visibility without overwhelming smaller residential plots. The 120mm square footprint anchors into concrete or gravel bases, with the weight concentrated in the steel base plate. The opal diffuser spreads light in 360 degrees, providing wayfinding illumination rather than focused downlighting.

The treated pine shows natural grain variation and will weather to a silver-grey patina over time unless treated with wood oil or stain.
