Description

The Half Moon is a 38cm LED table lamp built from two interlocking circular discs set on a polished chrome circular base. The rear disc holds a flat white acrylic diffuser ringed by a chrome bezel, while the front disc is a smaller solid chrome half-moon that overlaps the lower portion of the diffuser. An integrated 9W LED behind the acrylic panel emits soft, even light across the full face of the rear disc.

The lamp suits bedside tables, console tables, hallway sideboards and living room side tables where a sculptural light source is wanted rather than a traditional shaded lamp. The 25cm diameter and compact footprint mean it sits comfortably on narrower surfaces without crowding other items, and the integrated LED removes the need to source a separate bulb. A trailing mains lead connects to a standard UK 3-pin plug.

Construction is solid metal throughout with a polished chrome finish on the discs and base, paired with a flat white acrylic light panel. The reflective chrome catches and reflects the surrounding room, so the lamp shifts in appearance depending on what sits near it and how the room is lit. The geometric, two-disc form gives the piece a graphic, modern profile that pairs with contemporary, glam and Art Deco-influenced interiors.
