The Hagony is a metal candle lantern in a silver finish, made as a cage of fine wire wound around upright ribs, with a clear glass insert at its heart to hold the candle. The shape is soft and full: wide and rounded towards the base, then tapering gently to an open top finished with a neat rim. It stands 29cm tall and measures 28cm in diameter, so it is almost as wide as it is tall, which gives it a settled, generous presence wherever it sits.

As a decor piece it belongs indoors, and we see it on a dining table, a sideboard, a deep windowsill or a hallway console, anywhere a lit candle adds warmth to the evening. The silver wirework sits comfortably alongside grey, white and natural wood interiors, and it looks just as considered unlit as it does with a candle burning, so it earns its place during the day too.
