Description

The Habana Telescopic is a 1 light wall fitting with a vertically adjustable arm, matt black metal frame and polished chrome accents. The telescopic rod extends between 260-320mm, paired with a flexible black fabric cable that allows the E27 bulb holder to be raised or lowered along the chrome rod to direct light onto a bedside reading position, over a desk, or towards a wall for wash lighting.

Designed by Santolaria & Llusca, the Habana is built for bedrooms, home offices and living room reading corners where a single adjustable light source is needed without committing to a fixed height. The 120mm square backplate mounts directly to the wall, the chrome rod extends forward 143mm, and the lamp holder sits on the end of the extendable cable. The fitting is shown with a black tapered fabric shade, the Habana Round Wall Lamp Shade in black, but is sold without the shade, allowing you to fit your own E27 bulb and choose whether to leave the bulb exposed or add a separate shade to match your interior.

The matt black finish on the backplate and cable housing pairs with the polished chrome rod to create a two-tone contrast that works in both warm and cool-toned interiors. The 0.44kg weight is light enough for plasterboard walls with standard cavity fixings. The E27 socket accepts any standard Edison screw bulb up to the maximum rating shown in the specification. LED filament bulbs between 4-8W and 2700K-3000K are typical for bedside reading use, while higher-output warm white LEDs suit task lighting over desks.

Is the shade in the photographs included?

No. The photographs show the fitting with a shade so you can judge its proportions, and the shade is not supplied. The fitting is sold on its own and takes a shade you choose separately.

Does the shade come with the fitting?

No. The Habana Telescopic is sold without a shade. The image shows it with the Habana Round Wall Lamp Shade in black for display purposes. You can fit your own E27 bulb and leave it exposed, or add a separate shade with an E27 fitting ring to match your interior.

How does the telescopic adjustment work?

The chrome rod is fixed to the backplate. The lamp holder sits on the end of an extendable black fabric cable that runs along the rod, allowing you to slide the bulb holder up and down between 260mm and 320mm from the backplate to adjust the light height.

What bulb should I use?

The fitting takes any standard E27 Edison screw bulb. For bedside reading, a 4-8W warm white LED filament bulb at 2700K-3000K is typical. For task lighting over a desk, a higher-output LED between 8-12W at 3000K-4000K provides brighter directed light.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if you fit a dimmable E27 bulb and wire the circuit through a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself has no integrated dimmer control. Dimming depends on the bulb and external dimmer you choose.
