Guildhall 1 Light Wall Light - Dark Bronze

The Guildhall is a 410mm tall wall lantern built around a cylindrical clear glass enclosure held within a dark bronze metal frame. The frame comprises vertical corner posts, decorative pierced bands at top and bottom, and a loop hanging detail at the crown. A single E14 candle socket sits inside the glass cylinder on a central pedestal, with the glass diffusing light in all directions.

Designed for entrance halls, corridors, and stairwells in Georgian, Victorian and period-inspired interiors, the Guildhall provides ambient light through 360° of clear glass while the frame casts secondary shadow patterns onto adjacent walls. The 100mm projection from the wall keeps the lantern clear of door frames and furniture, while the 150mm width suits standard corridor and hall proportions. The E14 socket accepts candle-style LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W (sold separately).

The dark bronze finish is applied to steel framework with a low-sheen coating that resists fingerprints and minor scuffs. The pierced decorative bands at top and bottom reference historical lantern grilles without creating sharp edges or dust traps. The clear glass panels are sealed into the frame with weatherproof gaskets, making the fitting suitable for covered porches and entrance canopies as well as internal use, though the fitting carries no formal IP rating for full outdoor exposure.

What bulb does the Guildhall take?

The fitting takes a standard E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W LED candle bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) to replicate the appearance of a traditional flame candle.

Can this be used outdoors?

The Guildhall carries no formal IP rating, so it is not rated for full outdoor exposure to rain. It can be used in covered porches, entrance canopies and other sheltered positions where the fitting is protected from direct water ingress.

How is the glass cleaned?

The glass panels can be wiped with standard glass cleaner or a microfibre cloth dampened with distilled water. Access to the interior glass surface requires removing the bottom fixing cap, which is held by a single screw underneath the lantern base.
