Gruissan 6.5cm LED Pendant Light 5W 3000K - Matt Black & Satin Gold

The Gruissan is a compact 65mm diameter downlight pendant with a matt black cylindrical shade lined with satin gold, housing an integrated 5W LED module that emits 350 lumens at 3000K warm white. The LED sits behind a 20° beam angle reflector, directing light downward in a focused cone suitable for spot illumination over kitchen worktops, bar counters and side tables.

Designed for installation either as a single pendant or in multiples clustered at varying heights, the Gruissan drop is adjustable between 100mm minimum and 1300mm maximum on a black braided cable. The short minimum drop allows the fitting to work in rooms with ceiling heights as low as 2.1m, while the extended drop suits double-height entrance halls and stairwell voids. The narrow 65mm body sits comfortably in tight spaces where a wider shade would dominate visually.

The satin gold interior reflects the LED output back through the black cylinder, creating a warm halo effect visible from the side when the fitting is lit. The matt black exterior absorbs ambient light during the day, giving the pendant a low-profile presence when switched off. At 0.75kg the fitting is light enough to suspend from standard ceiling roses without additional support. The black ceiling canopy measures approximately 90mm diameter and conceals the cable entry point.

Mantra manufactures the Gruissan in Spain using powder-coated aluminium for the shade body and brushed aluminium for the gold-effect lining. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates on standard 220-240V mains without requiring external drivers or transformers.

Is the Gruissan dimmable?

No. The integrated LED module operates at fixed 5W output on 220-240V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches. Attempting to dim the fitting may damage the LED driver.

What surfaces does the 20° beam angle suit?

The narrow 20° beam creates a focused pool of light approximately 300-400mm diameter when the pendant is suspended 600-800mm above a worktop or table surface. This makes it suitable for task lighting over kitchen islands, home bar areas, and bedside tables where directed light is needed rather than ambient room lighting.

Can multiple Gruissan pendants be clustered together?

Yes. The compact 65mm diameter and adjustable drop height make the Gruissan well-suited to cluster installations at staggered heights. Three or five pendants grouped over a dining table or kitchen island create visual interest while distributing focused downlight across the surface.

How is the drop height adjusted during installation?

The black braided cable passes through the ceiling canopy and can be shortened or lengthened before final fixing. Once the desired drop is set, the canopy locks the cable in place. Adjustment requires access to the ceiling void during installation.
