Description
The Grove is an 8-light crystal chandelier built on a gold-finished metal frame with sculpted glass arms and cascading hand-cut crystal droplets. Each of the eight candle-style E14 bulb positions sits on a curved glass arm decorated with crystal elements, while additional crystal pendalogues hang from the frame tiers to refract light. The suspension cable is covered with a twisted velvet sleeve in a tonal gold colour, which conceals the wiring from ceiling rose to canopy.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and principal bedrooms where ceiling height allows at least 2.6m clearance, the Grove measures 670mm in diameter and 640mm in height from canopy to lowest crystal drop. The eight E14 bulbs (sold separately) provide distributed light across the fitting rather than a single central source, making the chandelier effective over a dining table or in a room where ambient light is needed without ceiling-mounted downlights. The IP20 rating limits the Grove to interior dry locations only.
The gold frame finish is a warm metallic tone that sits between polished brass and antique gold, pairing well with warm neutrals, deep reds, forest greens and navy interiors. The hand-cut crystal droplets are faceted to catch and scatter light when the chandelier is both lit and unlit, so the fitting contributes decorative presence during daylight hours. The combination of moulded glass arms and individually hung crystal elements gives the Grove more visual depth than stamped-metal alternatives at this price point.
Ideal Lux manufactures the Grove in Italy and backs it with a 5-year warranty. The chandelier is compatible with dimmer switches when paired with dimmable E14 LED candle bulbs, allowing light levels to be adjusted from full brightness for task lighting to a softer glow for evening dining or entertaining.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Grove take?
The chandelier takes eight E14 candle bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for a traditional glow. Dimmable bulbs are recommended if you plan to use a dimmer switch.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 640mm drop from canopy to lowest crystal requires a ceiling height of at least 2.6m to maintain adequate headroom beneath the chandelier. For installation over a dining table, allow 750-850mm between the table surface and the lowest crystal drop.
How is the crystal maintained?
Switch off the power before cleaning. Dust the crystal droplets with a dry microfibre cloth or a soft brush. For more thorough cleaning, individual crystals can be wiped with a cloth very lightly dampened with distilled water, then immediately dried. Avoid household glass cleaners or sprays, which can leave residue.
Is the gold finish lacquered?
The gold metal frame carries a protective finish to resist tarnishing under normal interior conditions. Avoid placing the chandelier in high-humidity environments such as bathrooms, as the IP20 rating and unsealed metal finish are not suitable for moisture exposure.
