Description

The Griffin is a 533mm semi-flush ceiling light with four E27 bulbs housed beneath an etched glass bowl shade, supported by curved metal arms finished in Palladian bronze. The glass shade is painted white on the inside surface to diffuse and soften the light output, while the etched exterior adds texture to the bowl. The four curved arms extend from a central ceiling mount before sweeping down to cradle the glass bowl at its rim.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.8m where a full pendant would hang too low, the Griffin sits 356mm from the ceiling rose to the base of the glass bowl. This makes it suitable for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls in both traditional homes and period conversions. The semi-flush format provides general ambient light across a 12-16 square metre room without dominating sightlines or obstructing ceiling height.

The Palladian bronze finish shows as a mid-tone brown with warm copper undertones, darker than antique brass but warmer than oil-rubbed bronze.
