The semi-flush configuration brings the light source closer to the ceiling than a traditional pendant but lower than a flush mount, providing better downward light distribution while maintaining clearance for doors and circulation. The clear seeded glass contains small bubbles and imperfections that diffuse light gently without blocking it entirely, allowing Edison-style filament bulbs to remain visible when lit.

The palladian bronze finish is a muted grey-brown metallic tone that sits between true bronze and aged pewter, avoiding the warmth of polished brass while remaining softer than black. The weathered brass accents at the central column and the three decorative balls at the arm junctions add a subtle two-tone contrast without creating a strong visual break.
