Description

The Griffin is a 422mm semi-flush ceiling light with a seeded glass bowl held by three curved arms finished in palladian bronze with weathered brass accent detailing. The glass sits close to the ceiling with a 301mm overall drop, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3-2.5m where a full pendant would hang too low. Three E27 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the glass, with the seeded texture diffusing light while the clear glass allows the filaments to remain visible.

Designed for entrance halls, bedrooms, dining rooms and living rooms needing ambient light without the projection of a pendant, the Griffin's semi-flush configuration provides wide light spread across a ceiling plane. The curved bronze arms arc from the ceiling rose to the outer rim of the glass bowl, creating visible structural interest when viewed from below. The weathered brass accents at the arm joints and ceiling rose add tonal contrast against the darker bronze finish.

The seeded glass bowl shows small bubble textures throughout the material, giving a softer light quality than clear glass while maintaining transparency. The palladian bronze finish has a dark grey-brown tone with subtle variations that suit both traditional and contemporary interiors. The three-bulb configuration allows for asymmetric lighting by using different bulb styles or wattages, or uniform ambient light when matched bulbs are fitted.
