Description

The Griffin is a 422mm semi-flush ceiling light with three E27 bulb positions housed beneath an etched white glass bowl, supported by curved palladian bronze arms extending from a central ceiling mount. The white-painted interior of the glass bowl reflects light back through the etched surface, diffusing it evenly across the room. The 301mm drop positions the fitting closer to the ceiling than a full pendant, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3-2.6m where a pendant would hang too low.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms where ambient light is needed without visual intrusion, the Griffin provides a broad spread of light without directing it at eye level. The three E27 sockets accept standard bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), giving flexibility to use warm-white LED bulbs at 6-10W for a softer ambient effect or higher-wattage bulbs where more output is needed. The curved palladian bronze arms give the fitting a traditional profile that pairs with classical, transitional and period-inspired interiors.

The palladian bronze finish has a matte surface with subtle brown and gold undertones, darker than polished brass but warmer than oil-rubbed bronze.
