This silverplated photo frame is made for a much-loved granddaughter, with the word Granddaughter written across the top in flowing black script. A fine line trails out from the lettering, and along the foot of the frame a second line sweeps across to finish in two little hearts. The frame is metal with a real silverplated finish in two tones: a soft satin silver across the wide face and a bright, polished silver edge around the picture. It takes a 6 x 4in photograph upright, through a single rectangular opening with no mount, so the picture sits right up to that shining edge. Overall it measures 21.8cm along its longer side, 17.2cm along its shorter side and 1.6cm deep.
