Description

The Graham is a 584mm diameter dual-mount ceiling light with a lacquered brass frame supporting two tiers of off-white faux parchment shades around four E14 candle-style bulbs. The fitting can be installed as either a pendant (with adjustable drop between 359mm and 1218mm) or as a semi-flush ceiling mount, making it suitable for both standard and low ceiling heights.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms with ceiling heights from 2.3m upwards, the Graham provides ambient light through the upper drum shade (584mm diameter) and a secondary lower shade (approximately 350mm diameter) that sits within the brass ring frame. When installed as a pendant, the height is adjusted via a chain mechanism concealed within the central stem. As a semi-flush mount, the fitting sits 359mm from the ceiling, suitable for rooms where a full pendant would hang too low.

The lacquered brass finish has a warm golden tone that sits between polished brass and antique brass on the spectrum, with a protective lacquer coating that resists tarnishing without requiring regular polishing. The faux parchment shades diffuse the light from the four E14 bulbs (sold separately, maximum 40W per bulb) while the visible candle cluster inside the lower shade provides a traditional decorative element. The Graham is designed for horizontal ceiling installation only. The dual-mount mechanism (pendant or semi-flush) requires a flat ceiling surface for proper fitting and the shades are aligned to hang level, which would not work on a slope.

What bulbs are recommended?

The fitting takes four E14 (small Edison screw) candle-style bulbs up to 40W each. Most users choose LED candle bulbs between 4W and 6W in 2700K warm white to replicate the appearance of traditional incandescent candles while keeping running costs low.

How do you convert between pendant and semi-flush mount?

The fitting ships with both mounting options. Installation as a pendant uses the adjustable chain and stem assembly. Installation as a semi-flush mount removes the chain and uses a shorter fixed stem that positions the fitting 359mm below the ceiling rose. The conversion is done during installation, not after the fitting is in place.
